I offer a confidential, safe and non-judgemental space, with a strong focus on compassion and empathy, to help you talk through your issues.
Together, you and I will explore your situation, and talk about those aspects of your life that might be blocking you from living a safe and fulfilled life.
Sometimes, this may involve going deeper into your life experiences. It is important to know that our conversation will only go where you want it to go.
There will be no need for you to repeat your whole story if you don't feel comfortable to do so.
At times, you may only wish to discuss some easy and helpful strategies and resources that will help you to either manage or overcome your challenging situation, instead of going deep.
Whatever it is that you wish to get out of your counselling and psychotherapy, my hope is that, in time, you will develop the resources and an inner resilience that will give you the confidence to deal with any future challenges and live your life as your authentic and fulfilled self

I am an experienced specialist in trauma and complex trauma, dedicated to helping individuals navigate and heal from deep-seated emotional wounds.
Navigating the impacts of long-term family and intimate partner violence, childhood trauma due to neglect, abuse, and surviving the impacts of childhood physical and sexual abuse can cause lifelong problems in many areas of your life.
Living with psychological and emotional abuse requires resilience and support, and as a specialist in trauma and complex trauma, I am dedicated to helping individuals heal and rebuild their lives.

Violence is not always physical abuse. It includes verbal, psychological, emotional and sexual abuse. All of these type of abuse fall under the broad definition of Family, Intimate Partner and Domestic violence.
If you are in an abusive relationship or have left one, Psychotherapy and Counselling in a safe, non-judgemental space will facilitate your journey of healing from all the deep wounds from prolonged abuse.
Healing can take many forms, such as re-building your self-esteem, feeling safe to make your own choices and rebuilding a life that meets all your own unique needs.
Most importantly, healing means learning to love yourself, being self-compassionate, and giving yourself permission to reclaim the power over your life.
